FMP: Week 18 Wednesday

On Wednesday, I worked on the bubbles and audio in the scene.

I followed this tutorial for some simple bubbles, and then went hunting for audio!

For the audio, I looked on freesound for effects and incompetech.filmmusic for the background music, as both supply royalty free audio.

I found a bush rustling effect, water splashing, river ambience, a subtle breeze, underwater ambience and for the background music I found:

The sound effects were cut up into useable slices that I could use interactively within the scene.


Bush rustle on hit
Water BP generating sound on ripple emitter spawn,
flip flopping between pitches for variety
River ambience audio cues placed at water to fade in and out based on camera distance
Breeze sound cue throughout the whole scene, but focused near the trees
Underwater sound cue with no fade so the camera only hears it when submerged
Music sequencer (auto play) fading the background music in and out
