FMP: Week 18 Thursday

On Thursday, I attended a Teams feedback session with Kat and Craig. I asked how to go about creating a cobblestone pathway, in which Kat recommended using a spline construction script that she linked me to. I asked if I should place clouds around the plinth, and they both told me that it would look good if I were to add clouds near the top of the tree to add some depth to the scene. I was unsure how to make the shoreline of my water more wobbly, in more of an S curve than a straight line that moves backwards and forwards. Originally I thought I would be able to modify the topology of the shoreline, but later realised that I was using world space for the mask and couldn't figure out how to make the mask more distorted. Kat sent me an email which showed the use of a sine node, but I couldn't find a way to implement it into my current shader expressions.

Finally, they added that it would be good for me to make some more storytelling assets to place around the scene, as it was looking a little bit bare.

I didn't manage to get any other work done today unfortunately, as I had a doctors appointment on zoom straight after the feedback session.
