FMP: Week 14 Monday

On Monday, I went back to the characters and started texturing my second character for the scene based on my concept. Originally, the concept had the loincloth at the back covering the tail, but it would be incredibly awkward in reality since the tail could lift up the material. This is why I added a hole in the loincloth in the first model.

For the second character, to save time, I simply went through all of the layers I had previously made for the guard character and edited the colours and masks, so that the detail between them would be consistent, but the colour scheme and patterning would be different. I also added some berry juice staining to the mouth, as the character would be eating berries in the scene.

I kept switching between the material and base colour view as I knew that my scene relies on both

I also imported some alphas I made in photoshop to stamp onto the cloth, whcih will change depending on which job the character has within the group of characters.
